WHY SHOULD I USE A TVP PAINT PROTECTION FILM (PPF) KIT INSTEAD OF A BRA AND/OR BUG SHIELD ?
Bra's and bug shields are not permanently affixed to the vehicle and cause chaffing to the paint.
TVP Paint Protection Film Kits protect the painted surface without damaging the paint and does
not change the appearance of the vehicle.

WILL IT REALLY STOP ROCKS FROM CHIPPING THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE ?
YES. The material was originally designed by aerospace engineers to protect the leading edges of aircraft
propellers and rotor blades from rock chips. The speeds at which a vehicle travels is much less than that
of propellers, and the film does its job in both situations.

CAN I SEE THE FILM AFTER IT HAS BEEN APPLIED ?
The material is crystal clear and is virtually invisible. The only visible part of the film is the edges, that can
only be seen from less than one - two feet and even less in some cases, depending on color of paint.

HOW LONG WILL IT LAST ?
Paint Protection Film by LLumar and Venture Tape are backed by a Lifetime Warranty that covers
yellowing, cracking, and bubbling. With proper care and maintenence, the film should last as long as you
own your vehicle.

WILL MY PAINT FADE DIFFERENTLY UNDER THE PPF KIT THAN IT DOES THE REST OF THE VEHICLE ?
NO. The material contains an inhibitor to prevent the film reacting to the sun's UV rays but this does
not prevent the UV rays from passing through the film into your paint.

WHAT IF I WANT TO TAKE MY VEHICLE THROUGH A CAR WASH OR HAVE IT WAXED?
You can do anything to the TVP PPF kits that you would do to the rest of the vehicle's finish.
The shield will accept wax and polish just as your paint does and will last longer with regular application.

WHAT DO I DO WHEN WAX BUILDS UP ON THE LEADING EDGES OF THE FILM WHEN I WAX MY VEHICLE ?
A soft, damp terry cloth towel, Q-tips or soft brush will remove any wax build-up that may occur.

CAN THE FILM BE REMOVED OR REPLACED ?
YES. It can be removed by a certified installer without doing any damage to the vehicles finish.

WILL MY VEHICLE'S LIGHTING PERFORMANCE BE AFFECTED WITH THE INSTALLATION OF HEADLIGHT PROTECTION?
NO. Because TVP Headlight Protection Kits are the same crystal clear film, but a thicker formulation to
protect fragile glass.

IS THE PPF KIT BY TVP GUARANTEED ?
YES. LLumar and VentureShield back their products with a Lifetime Warranty that protects against turning
yellow, cracking and bubbling. The most common problems associated with other PPF Kits. This applies to
the original owner and is not transferable.

WILL THE PPF KIT AFFECT THE MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY ?
NO. The manufacturer's warranty is not affected because the paints finish and metal of your vehicle is not
tampered with in any way. Total Vehicle Preparation does not modify or alter any part to the vehicle while
instlling the PPF kits. The film used is OEM approved my most major auto manufacturers such as:
Toyota, GM, Nissan, and Ferrari, just to name a few.
